Toba Samosir regency located at 2003 '- 2040' north latitude and 98056'-99 040 'East Longitude, Toba Samosir regency has an area of 2021.8 km2.
Toba Samosir regency were among the five districts of northern border with Simalungun District, bordering the East side of Labuhan Batu and shavings, the southern border with North Tapanuli and bordering the western side of Samosir regency.
Toba Samosir regency is located on the plateau region, with an altitude between 900-2200 meters above sea level, with topography and contour of the land is diverse, which is flat, sloping, and steeply sloping. Labile soil structure and located in areas of tectonic and volcanic earthquakes
