From the observation tower of Tele you can see clearly the subdistrict of Harian with the capital subdistrict Harianboho. Located at the side of Lake Toba, it is a region with highest level of rainfall in the Toba Samosir regency in 2002, Harian's population stood at 11,556 in an area of 606.01 Km2. Generally, the people there are farmers who cultivate freshwater fish at Lake Toba.
